Werner Voss: Mr. Klebefalz and his journey through Europe - German
A guide for young stamp collectors
In 82 chapters, thematically presented as letters, the author tells in entertaining stories all sorts of worth knowing about the stamp collecting. The range extends from the stamp's origin to the design of an album, the tools such as dry book and magnifying glass to forgeries and reprints. 490 continuous black-and-white printed illustrations show the variety of European stamps in format, design and variation up to 1928.
Particularly interesting are the individual country letters, in which "Mr. Klebefalz" presents brands from the individual European postal areas. In doing so, he often issues humorous swipes at greedy postal administrations or particularly unsuccessful designs. The illustration shows individual brands of the respective "travel area".
The stamp issues in the 1914-1918 World War are also dealt with and the most important issues of the occupied territories briefly presented.

From my father and mother I have inherited the love of the stamp ... Business I constantly come together with young collectors and often noticed: they lack at home the leadership in the realm of the brands, which my father offered me; Catalog and album can not bring everything, the young collector wants to hear more from the brand images.
